Abstrak

This study aims to examine the condition of educational facilities and infrastructure at SMA Negeri 9 Muaro Jambi and to analyze the extent to which the available facilities support the learning process. This study is motivated by the importance of facilities and infrastructure in creating an effective, comfortable, and conducive learning environment. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the condition of facilities and infrastructure at the school is still inadequate. Several classrooms experienced damage to basic facilities such as tables, chairs, and ventilation. Learning support facilities such as laboratories, libraries, and learning media are also still limited, so they are not optimal in supporting teaching and learning activities. Management of facilities and infrastructure has not been carried out optimally due to limited budget and lack of strategic planning. Therefore, it is necessary to increase fund allocation, strengthen school management, and cooperate with various parties to improve the quality of educational facilities at SMA Negeri 9 Muaro Jambi.
